  • Property Information: Property addresses, unit details, lease terms, and tenant information
  • Financial Information: Banking details for rent collection and payment processing
  • Documents: Lease agreements, inspection reports, and property photos you upload
  • Communications: Messages sent through our platform and customer support interactions

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the platform
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
  • Log Data: IP addresses, access times, and referring URLs

2.3 Mobile App Permissions

The Property Ledger Android app requests the following device permissions. Each is optional and requested only when you use the related feature:

  • Precise Location: Used to verify your presence at a property when you clock in or out for time tracking and during field work. Location is captured only at the moment you take one of those actions — never continuously and never in the background.
  • Camera and Photos: Used to capture and attach photos to inspection reports, maintenance records, and property documentation.

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Process rent payments and financial transactions
  • Send service-related communications and updates
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • Ensure NSPIRE compliance and generate inspection reports

  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service Providers: Third parties who help us operate our platform (payment processors, cloud hosting, analytics)

  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

5. Payment Processing

We use Circle and Stripe for payment processing. Your payment information is transmitted directly to these processors and is subject to their privacy policies. We do not store complete credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers.

8.1 Account and Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time, whether or not you still have access to the app:

  • In the app: Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete Account.
  • Email help@crashfundme.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from the email address on your account.
  • See Delete your account for exactly what is removed and what is retained.

We will delete your account and personal data within 30 days of a verified request, except for records we are required to retain as described in Section 7 (Data Retention).

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly without them.

10. Third-Party Links

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies.
